The Lake Rip Rap Lean Revetment was developed to maximize
shoreline stabilization with limited funds. This design
is recommended for littoral slopes steeper than 12% with
significant wave energy, and where the littoral zone is too
narrow to develop an effective habitat. This design
dissipates wave energy with no energy reflection, controls
shoreline erosion, reduces sedimentation, improves water
quality enhances ecological conditions, and stops shoreline
